Our client, JA Burke, a prominent company based in the Midlands with an annual turnover of £15 million, specialises in groundworks, civil engineering, and construction projects. Their project requirements called for a Working Foreman and up to 18 additional operatives, organised into three and four-man teams, each holding essential qualifications like SSSTS and CPCS/NPORS.
The project was extensive, with Skilled Labour Services taking on full responsibility for delivering comprehensive external works. This included drainage, kerbing, paving, and the installation of a substation base and ducting. The nature of the project required a diverse range of skills and a dedicated team to ensure it was executed to the highest standards against a tight deadline. We participated in regular site meetings and contributed to the planning process from inception to completion, creating a collaborative approach that was crucial to the project’s success.
